Walked in and saw a bunch of neighbors chatting away in fluent Cantonese – that’s when I knew I was in the right place. This spot has been around for almost 20 years, and the menu is massive. We ordered: German pork knuckle– Fried until golden and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. So good it disappeared in minutes. Cheese pork chop spaghetti – Loaded with cheese. When I cut into it, there were several thin pork chops hiding underneath – crispy on the edges, tender inside. Noodles were perfectly smooth. Singapore-style fried rice noodles – Tossed with shredded pork, egg, scallions, and curry powder. Great wok hei, super fragrant. Pineapple bun– Their signature, and it lives up to the hype. Huge bun stuffed with a thick slab of butter. Crumbly top, soft bread – just fantastic. Portions are enormous –. We were stuffed. Bill came out to just over $10 per person. We left so happy and full. Can't wait to come back.

Sunday Bistro has been a local staple in Alhambra for years, and it is easily one of my favorite spots in the area. I’ve been dining here for a long time, and the most impressive thing is how consistent the quality has remained over the years. In a neighborhood where restaurants come and go, Sunday Bistro is that rare, reliable gem where you know exactly what to expect: great food and efficient service every single time. Whether I’m stopping in for a quick lunch or satisfying a late-night craving, the flavors are always spot-on and exactly as I remember them. It’s the ultimate comfort food spot that never lets you down. Highly recommend if you want a local classic that actually maintains its high standards!

This restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking and lots of seating indoors as well as outdoors. Their menu is expensive so you’re going to find something for everyone to eat and love. They have huge portion so it’s all family style and good for sharing. Service is attentive The watermelon juice is so refreshing. Everything was delicious. I can’t complain. From the chow mein to soups chix steak, filet mignon I can decide which one is my faave so u must check it out for urself. It’s a chill n coz vibe.

A satisfying Hong Kong-style dinner in LA — and you can even sit outdoors for late-night bites! I recently discovered a Sunday bistro in Alhambra with a strong Hong Kong café vibe. As soon as you walk in, you’re welcomed by warm lighting and vintage wooden tables that create a nostalgic cha chaan teng atmosphere.
